Title: Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery
Role: Associate 2D Art Director

This was the first in game key art updated I art directed for HP:HM to announce the launch of our creature feature.  This piece was a collaborative effort with work from Cole Marchetti, Joel Landes, and David Nakayama.

  • Took over from Lead Artist David Nakayama shortly after launch

  • Directly lead a large team of concept artists

  • Followed every asset through ship to ensure the vision held by Narrative and Design was supported by our work

  • Produced weekly content drops of narrative updates, new cosmetics, customizations, pets and characters

  • Collaborated closely with product to ideate content and schedule

  • Represented Art, 3D, & Animation on weekly calls with WB & TBP for external IP holder approval, presenting detailed research to meet the brands strict standards for cannon products

  • Regularly met with Business Development, Marketing, and Socials teams to provide assets for promotional materials and community engagement

  • Worked with leads of all disciplines to keep 80+ dev team communication clear and vision consistent

  • Oversaw the addition of several new features including the Creature Reserve, Dating, & Quidditch

  • Designed some of the most purchased pets and most dated characters to great fiscal success for the studio

  • Trained new managers, managing 8 direct reports

  • Member of multiple hiring teams

  • Organized department wide outings and skill share workshops

  • Collaborated with engineering to create character production system that would generate entirely unique characters from a series of traits

  • Worked directly with product to select thematic collections and release schedule

  • At my time of hire the title was not a blockchain based game.

  • Interfaced with Fox and Fuzzy Door to move content through rigorous approval pipelines
